A New Chapter for the Retro Block Party Experience
With the creation of the new Town Square, we’re excited to take the Retro Block Party to the next level. Thanks to the generous support of the new owners of Chuck’s Roadhouse and a proud partnership with a Canadian company we all know well - Molson Coors, this space will feature a dedicated refreshment area designed to responsibly enhance the event experience. It’s all about creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for our community to enjoy—together.

• Charcoal BBQ from local Decano Meats with various menu items all hand made and cooked fresh
• Ice Cream Truck from everyones favourite Nick!,
• Cotton Candy, Popcorn and more from Magical Events
• 2 Stage Water Filtered Station from EHS Water
• Amazing refreshments from The Wild Lemon Co.
• Families can bring outside food (not drinks) if speciality dietary requirements are needed. All bags will be inspected.
Licensed Area
• Ages 21+ can enter the licensed area
• This area is supplied with various Molson Coors Products including Beer, Coolers and other cans.
• Chuck's Roadhouse will be the official servers
• Debit / Credit and Cash sales
• No outside drinks are permitted on site
What you can Bring
• If the kids want to bring a bathing suit for the water feature and splash area - they are welcomed too,
• You can bring a small bag, purse or beach bag with speciality foods (not drinks) if required. Please note all bags are to be inspected.
• Please DO NOT bring chairs, blankets or coolers as they will not be permitted.
• No outside drinks, Alcohol or drugs are tolerated.
• No Smoking or vaping inside the town square

• You must be a resident of Bradford West Gwillimbury or be attending with a resident of BWG.
• Once you purchase your tickets - you need to pick up your bracelet tickets on August 9th at the Farmers Market at the BWG Library Parking Lot or at Carrot Fest at "Close with Rose" booth
• See rules for additional info on the tickets
• Each bracelet has a matching raffle ticket that will be used for raffle prizes. The Draws will posted at 8pm
Change Rooms, Washrooms and in & outs
• With your bracelet tickets you and your family can come in and out to access the Ice Cream Truck, Library and BWG Leisure Centre washrooms and change rooms as well as porta-potty on site.
• You will have to clear security each time (like Canada's Wonderland)
Pay what you can to help reach our goals
• This event has significant expenses over $30k paid for by our amazing sponsors and donated time.
• All Tickets sales go directly to purchasing food from the Local No Frill's at wholesale prices and delivered to Bradford's Helping Hands Food Bank.
• There is an option to donate through us on the ticket page (without buying a ticket as well).
• We will also collect cheques from small business and families at the event to be part of the fundraising effort and contribution.
Together we work to deliver the best!
• Every year we have many youth volunteers sign up to help the stations, clean up and provide extra helping hands during our events.
• We also need adults that are trustworthy and committed to help make this a success.

Discover the Unforgettable Premiere Bradford Community Building Event!
What began as a grassroots street party hosted by Councillor Joseph Giordano (years before joining council) and local neighbours has now evolved into BWG’s biggest community-building event of the year—The RETRO BLOCK PARTY. With the opening of the new Town Square, a $3.3 million community space funded through developer charges and supported by Council, the event now has a permanent home where residents from across the town can come together to celebrate in true retro style.
Now open to all Bradford West Gwillimbury residents, the RETRO BLOCK PARTY continues to grow in impact and reach. 100% of ticket sales go directly to Bradford Helping Hands Food Bank, and over the past four years, the event has raised more than $30,000 to support local families in need. It’s more than just a party—it’s a celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the power of coming together.

Since moving to Bradford, my family and I have embraced the small-town charm, warmth, and neighbourly spirit that remind me of where I grew up in the early ’80s. Whether it’s a wave on the street or a smile in the grocery store, Bradford is our home.
Even before I was on council, I worked to bring our community together—and that mission hasn’t changed. As your councillor, I remain committed to being a voice for the people and celebrating the love we share for our neighbours, town, friends, and families. I’m especially proud to host this 4th annual event in our new Town Square—a project I’ve championed with town staff since day one.
It’s a joy to now share this event with the entire community and bring us all together.
