A Celebration of Community – 80s & 90s Style!

Get ready to rewind time and fast-forward community spirit! The BWG’s Original RETRO BLOCK PARTY 2025 is the evolution of a grassroots vision from Councillor Joseph Giordano and the Street Party Collective. Long before his time on council, Councillor Giordano was bringing neighbours together and building community—and now, with support from the Town and Council, that vision has grown into BWG’s biggest private community music event!

This year’s party is extra special: we’re throwing the ultimate RETRO-themed celebration at the newly opened $3.3 million community Town Square, funded through developer charges, championed this term by Giordano with town staff, and made possible with the hard work and design from Town staff and with the majority of councils support.
